The protection and care of personal information is paramount. We recognize that your information is private and should be treated as private.

 

What We Collect & How We Use That Information:

 

The only information collected by this website is your name and e-mail address and only if you sign up for the monthly e-mail newsletter. It is optional for you to sign up for the newsletter and is not required to receive assistance from our office. If you choose to sign-up, neither your name, nor your e-mail address will be provided to anyone else, or any other organization. You will only receive communication from the office of Andrew Younger. You may choose to unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.

 

E-mail communication with our office is stored digitally in a secure fashion. It is automatically archived after a period of six months inactivity on a given file.

 

We collect and store information about and provided by individuals who come to our office seeking assistance. The only information we collect and store is such information which is provided to us by you and specifically related to the case you are seeking assistance with.

 

Printed documents (where part of the file) are stored while the case is active after which documents are digitally stored and originals shredded or, at the request of the constituent, returned. Archived case work is kept in a secure digital storage for future reference should further issues occur with the case or in the event that you require a copy of the case file in the future.

 

If you are requesting assistance with a particular issue, limited information may be shared with caucus researchers or provincial government staff to ensure we are able to provide you with the most complete information and best assistance possible.

 

You may request that we not share any information, or only certain information, with caucus or provincial staff - or both. Please understand this may impact the completeness of information we can provide with respect to your case.

 

If you have not already asked us to contact an outside agency on your behalf, and it is felt to be necessary to contact another organization, you will be advised in advance for permission.

 

You may be asked to sign a waiver granting us permission to contact certain departments or agencies with respect to your file. Signing is optional and you may recscind such permission at any time.

 

Destruction or Return of Personal Information:

 

You may, at any time, request in writing that all files or information of a personal nature that our office has stored in active or archived files about you be returned to you (in the case of printed documents) or destroyed (printed or digital documents).
